General Questions
What makes DecoPress unique?
DecoPress is Emblems Made Easy. We make it possible for you to decorate garments using our emblems with equipment you have access to. Whether you are working with an embroidery machine, commercial heat press, or a domestic iron, we have a solution that can work for you. Give your garments a retail finish with DecoPress emblems.
How fast can you make my emblems?
DecoPress has a normal lead time of 2-5 working days. Larger orders may take longer.
Are DecoPress emblems washable?
DecoPress Apparel adhesive has been wash tested for over 50 plus washes. Simply follow the proper press instructions during application to get the emblems to bond properly to the fabric. Crafter adhesive has limited washability. Washing is not suitable for Headwear and Promotional adhesives.
Do you supply materials or machinery?
We do not supply materials or machinery to make emblems. You submit your designs, and we turn them into emblems.
Artwork Questions
What level of detail can DecoPress reproduce?
We can print as small as 0.25 mm line thickness or 8 points on all patches.
What sizes are available?
We can produce any size under 11.7” x 16.5”. Choose the smallest size category that your design fits without going over.
What color profile can DecoPress print?
Our default print process is CMYK. RGB files will be converted to CMYK.
What file types work best for DecoPress?
We prefer vector artwork saved as a PDF, but we can accept other file types if they are prepared correctly. Please refer to our Art Specs on our website for the most up to date guidelines.
What if I am not sure if my artwork is set up correctly?
Follow our art specifications as bet as you can. If you are still not sure, submit your order to us anyways. We will review your order and notify you if there are any issues. DecoPress will work with you to make sure that we help you get the best emblems possible.
What file type do you require for engraved or etched emblems?
Supply us vector artwork in black and white for laser etched emblems. The area etched will go slightly darker than the fabric color. Provide the area you want etched in black and the negative space in white. Designs will be cut to shape so be sure to add your cut lines. No free-floating text. We can etch as small as 0.25 mm line thickness or 8 points for most fonts.
Does DecoPress provide art proofs?
DecoPress does not provide art proofs as a part of its ordering process. Our goal is to produce your DecoPress emblems as quickly as possible. If you upload great artwork, we will make great emblems. Rest assured, you can buy DecoPress emblems with confidence. If there is a problem, we will work with you to find a positive resolution.
Ordering Questions
How do I order from DecoPress?
DecoPress emblems are available for purchase through our online portal on our website. Customers are asked to enter orders online to expedite the processing of the job and to minimize mistakes. If you need assistance with placing an order, please contact our orders team at orders@decopress.com.

How is DecoPress priced?

How can I see pricing?

How do I get a sample pack?
Sample packs are available for purchase. Click here to order.
What do I need to know before I order?
You will need to know the garment style and the fabric type for that garment. This is very important so that you can select the correct adhesive.
What are the differences between the adhesives?
We offer four types of adhesives that are designed to bond to a variety of fabrics. To choose the right adhesive you must know the fabric you are going to decorate. View our Choosing the Right Adhesive table to learn more about our adhesive options.
Does DecoPress have minimum quantities?
The minimum order quantity DecoPress is 10 pieces per design.
How do I pay for my order?
DecoPress charges your credit card when your order is ready to ship. This is to minimize the chance of your credit card being charged incorrectly in the event there are changes to your order and so that we can add shipping costs. Once logged in, you can update the credit card number or expiration date from the My Account section before your order ships. Should your card decline, we will send you an email with a link to make payment. Orders with payment declines, will not ship until payment is made.
What if there is a problem with my order?
Please inspect your order upon receiving it. If there is a problem, notify us immediately by emailing us at orders@decopress.com. Provide us with your job number and details about the problem. We will work with you to get you the right patches. You can buy Decopress with confidence.
Shipping Questions
What are my shipping options?
DecoPress’ standard domestic shipping option is FedEx 2 Day Air for a flat rate of $15.00 for most orders. If you need your order delivered faster, then we can ship Next Day Air. Pricing for expedited shipping varies and a quote can be provided once your order is ready to ship. Larger orders may incur additional freight charges. If you are local to our facility, you may also collect your order from Will Call. For international ship quotes, please contact us.
Do you ship internationally?

Pressing Questions
What kind of heat press is required to apply DecoPress emblems?
DecoPress Apparel, Headwear and Promo adhesives are professional grade bonding adhesives that are designed to work with any commercial heat press. Emblems made with these adhesives can be applied with both air operated and manual heat presses. The Headwear adhesive can be cold pressed on to most substrates and cures after 72 hours. Only the Crafter adhesive can be used with a domestic iron for permanent application.
Can you help me troubleshoot with pressing?
Getting a good bond requires proper time, temperature, and pressure. Test your heat press with a temperature gun to ensure you are getting the proper temperature. Settings may vary from heat press to heat press. Please test out pressing the emblems on scrap fabric prior to pressing full production. Excessive pressing can reduce the performance of the adhesive.
